Ashland Community and Technical College is changing lives through education and training.Located in the foothills of eastern Kentucky, Ashland Community & Technical College has been the two-year college of choice for students in the Ashland area since 1938.
As part of Kentucky Community and Technical College System, Ashland Community & Technical College offers university-parallel programs for transfer to four-year institutions and career programs for advancement in many professional and technical fields. In addition, ACTC responds to the needs of local business and industry for state-of-the-art workforce training. Thousands of people in the tri-state area of Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia visit an ACTC campus throughout the year for life-long learning experiences and cultural programs.
Ashland Community & Technical College has an "open door" admission policy. To be admitted as a student at ACTC, submit an application for admission. Submission of other documents may be necessary. Some technical programs (e.g. Nursing) are selective and have certain admission requirements.

In addition to quality education, Ashland Community and Technical College offers a variety of cultural, social and learning opportunities. At ACTC you can refine your acting skills by taking part in a production in our J.B. Sowards theatre, build a network of friends with our Award Winning Students in Free Enterprise group or represent your fellow students as a member of the Student Government Association.
Our classrooms and labs are equipped with technology that is in use in the business and industrial environment today. Our students learn on the same equipment type of equipment they will use on the job.
