Description

The mission of Central Ohio Technical College is to meet the technical education and training needs of students and employers in the area.

Each degree program at COTC includes general education courses the College regards as essential for the education of every student. These studies allow a student to acquire the necessary abilities to obtain and keep a job, to listen and read with understanding, to speak and write clearly, to think soundly and to employ mathematics quickly and accurately.

Most COTC graduates immediately enter the job market. Typically, 90 percent of graduating classes are employed full-time within six months of leaving the College. Most of them are working in the technology they studied at COTC.

Some graduates choose to continue their work at another college or university with minimal loss of time and credit. The College has articulation agreements with a number of four-year institutions in Ohio.
