Harold Washington College is a two-year, public college in Chicago, Illinois, that offers all of the opportunities of a city college. Academics include numerous transfer degree programs in the arts, sciences and humanities. Classes also take place throughout the week and at all times of the day and evening.

Harold Washington College holds evening, morning and afternoon classes, as well as classes on Saturdays and Sundays. Students may take classes online too.
College life opportunities are equally numerous and diverse and include services like counseling, tutoring and peer mentoring, as well as several student publications, a student government and creative, special interest and other student clubs.
Admissions applications are available on the school website. Incoming students will also need to take the Compass placement exam.
Those who wish to apply for financial aid will need to complete the FAFSA, as well. Financial aid packages usually include a combination of loans and grants.
