Covenant Theological Seminary is a small, closely-knit graduate institution that offers specialized academics to accommodate the diverse goals and interests of those entering the ministry. Since Covenant Theological seeks to help students grow in faith and understanding of Christian teachings, they also offer different spiritual life activities.

Located in St. Louis, Missouri, Covenant Theological Seminary awards master’s degrees in:

  • Educational Ministries
  • Religion and Cultures
  • Worship and Music
  • Christian Counseling

Covenant also offers a post-graduate certificate in Theology and a doctorate in Ministry.

Chapel services, covenant groups, a women’s prayer group and other spiritual activities help students to strengthen their faith while becoming part of the school’s tightly knit community.

Students also participate in ministries and field experience assignments at one of the area’s many churches.

Applicants are encouraged to first visit and tour the Covenant Theological Seminary campus. They will then need to submit an application on the school’s website. Additional admissions materials include transcripts, references and one or more personal essays about their faith and goals at the school and beyond.

Covenant Theological Seminary awards academic scholarships and matching scholarships with different churches. Some scholarships will even pay the full cost of tuition. Other types of financial aid include federal grants and loans, and veteran’s benefits.
