Description

The Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas, provides an undergraduate liberal arts education that prepares students for further professional or graduate study.

Hendrix is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. It does not require students to have any faith background, but it honors its faith commitment by providing students with many spiritual life opportunities. Students may attend chapel services or participate in campus-wide faith events.

The college provides many exciting student life opportunities. With more than 70 student clubs and organizations, you’ll find like-minded students who share the same interests. The school also hosts many performances at its art complex, auditorium and theatre.

Students who want professional facilities for their research will find it at Hendrix. The school offers a high-quality life sciences center and technology center.

Academics include more than 30 majors and 35 minors in a variety of fields, from Allied Health to Computer Science to Creative Writing to Philosophy and Religious Studies. The school also offers an MA in Accounting.

Admissions require students to submit a Common Application, a Secondary School Report and official ACT/SAT scores. The school recommends, but does not require, a letter of recommendation.

Students who file a FAFSA and apply for extracurricular activities may be eligible to receive institutional scholarships. Other forms of financial aid include grants, loans, United Methodist aid and work-study programs.

The campus is beautiful, the students are accepting, and there's a great community feel. The addition of the Village means that the school will continue to grow and offer new opportunities for students to connect with people outside the school.
