HSU Description

HSU students have opportunities for hands-on research. Students dig into active fault zones, observe gray whales or mountain lions in their natural habitats, explore the rich biodiversity of old growth redwood forests and steep themselves in marine life aboard the ocean-going research vessel, Coral Sea. Small class sizes and the intimate natural setting foster friendliness and close student/faculty relationships.

A beautiful campus. The world's tallest trees. World-class academics. Professors who will actually know your name. All this plus the ocean, rivers and mountains. What more could you possibly want from a university? Humboldt State is all these things and more.
