Whether looking to transfer after a few semesters or go directly into the workforce, KCC can provide the education needed to succeed with more than 40 degrees options and more than 45 certificates and mini-certificates. With an emphasis on student service and a collegewide commitment to excellence, KCC offers you the ideal environment for learning.
KCC courses are taught by extremely qualified and motivated teachers who put students first. Many of KCC's professors have the highest degree in their fields. With an 19 to 1 student to faculty ratio, KCC has more than 140 full- and part-time instructors for college credit classes. And small class sizes allow students to receive individualized attention.
In its College Credit Division, KCC awards associate degrees, associate in Applied Science degrees and certificates of completion. Students attend KCC both to prepare to transfer to four-year institutions and complete bachelor's degrees and to prepare to enter the job market directly from KCC.
KCC also offers non-degree programs to meet a variety of community needs, including workforce development and remedial development, through its office of Corporate and Continuing Education and its Division of Adult and Community Education.
