If you live in northeast Mississippi and are looking for a two-year, postsecondary institution, Northeast Mississippi Community College (NEMCC) can offer you solid academics in a convenient location.

NEMCC is a public school that offers educational degree programs and vocational training in a variety of disciplines, including Business Administration, Communications (Journalism), Computer Aided Drafting and Design, Culinary Arts, Practical Nursing, and more. Workforce training and adult education programs are available as well.

Students can take classes at the main Booneville campus, or at off-campus sites like Albany and Corinth. Coursework is also available online through the distance learning program.

After graduation, NEMCC provides its students with job placement services. The Office of Student Placement helps graduates find work with potential employers in the community.

Applications for admissions to NEMCC can be printed out from the school’s website and mailed to the admission’s office along with high school transcripts and ACT or SAT scores.

Financial aid is accepted from qualifying students to help supplement the cost of education. Tuition fees are lowered for residents of Mississippi. College life at NEMCC includes intramural sports and other athletic programs, Greek Life, leadership opportunities, and more.
