Porter and Chester Institute Admissions

The admissions policy at Porter and Chester Institute is subjective and individualized in nature. In other words, students are not judged simply based on standardized test scores and previous grade point averages, but on their other relative merits and academic and professional promise.

All applicants to Porter and Chester Institute must provide proof of a high school diploma or a GED certificate. Potential students are also required to participate in an interview with an admissions official and pass a proprietary admissions test.

Porter and Chester Institute is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).  The Medical Assisting program at our Chicopee, Westborough, MA, Enfield, Rocky Hill, Stratford, Watertown, and Branford, CT, branches is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
