College life at Sandhills allows students many opportunities to supplement their classroom education by taking part in community projects, professional organizations, leadership activities and fun campus events like the Ruth Pauley Lecture Series.
Students may also spend time outside of the classroom checking out the concerts, play productions and theatre performances held at the Owens Auditorium or exploring the Sandhills Horticultural Gardens.
The academics available at Sandhills include associate’s degrees, as well as a diploma and certificate programs. You may transfer to a baccalaureate program or prepare for a career in the health, business and service fields.
Since the school maintains an open admissions policy, as long as you are over 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED, you will be considered by Sandhills for enrollment.
Students who file a FAFSA will be considered for Sandhills financial aid through Pell grants, SEO grants, North Carolina Community College grants and scholarship programs.
