Getting involved in student life is easy at UMKC. A wide breadth of students clubs are available to join, allowing you to meet like-minded students and become exposed to different interests. Many of these clubs host activities and events on campus, like multicultural and diversity fairs, community service days and departmental workshops.
Greek life opportunities are available, whether your interests are academic or social. You can also participate in the many leadership and service events that are offered, gaining real-world experience as you engage with the local community and build partnerships.
Academics offered at the school include undergraduate and graduate programs in more than 50 major programs in more than 125 fields of study. Bachelor’s degrees range from Accounting to Geography to Theatre. Graduate programs are offered in the arts and sciences, biological sciences, education, law and more.
Admissions are determined by an applicant’s high school curriculum, ACT/SAT scores, class rank and GPA.
Tuition is set lower for Missouri residents and Missouri Midwest Exchange students.
Students who file a FAFSA by March 1 of the prior academic year will be considered to receive financial aid through the form of institutional merit-based scholarships, federal grants, loans and work study programs.
