Willoughby-Eastlake School of Practical Nursing is part of the Willoughby public school system in Ohio. For more than 40 years, Willoughby-Eastlake has been training practical nurses to work in a variety of settings and specializations.
The practical nursing program teaches high school students and adults the skills they need to work as practical nurses in such specialty areas as:
Academics also teach other important skills such as pharmacology. The diversity of Willoughby-Eastlake’s programs lead to employment in such diverse settings as:
- Assisted living facilities
- Doctor’s offices
- Home health care companies
- Pediatric practices
- Rehabilitation facilities
The program is intensive and students attend full-time, during the day, for a total of nine months.
Adult students who meet financial and other qualifications may receive financial aid. Aid awards include Pell grants and Stafford loans. To apply for aid, applicants will need to complete a FAFSA and provide evidence of their income for that year. After evaluating these materials, the financial aid office and the Department of Education will make a decision about a student’s financial aid eligibility.
