WSPP Description
The Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology (WSPP) has as its goal the provision of a doctoral-level education which emphasizes the acquisition of the traditional skills which defined the profession in the past while staying open to emerging developments, cultural diversity and change. Our program balances scientific knowledge and practical instruction, taking its impetus from the recommendations of the American Psychological Association's Vail conference. The School's curriculum was developed in accord with APA standards and is continually evaluated to assure compliance with those requirements. WSPP is committed to training professional clinical psychologists who are sensitive to cultural differences and skilled in service provision to diverse populations. The richly diversified community which surrounds us enhances our training.
