Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont, is a private institution that strives to not only provide students with quality education, but also to enrich character and offer creative outlets through a variety of extracurricular activities.The college offers the unique “Upside Down” curriculum, where students begin taking classes for their major as freshmen, allowing students early exposure to their degree paths, internships, and skills necessary for their major’s completion.
Academics offered at the college include bachelor’s degrees through more than 25 majors in four academic divisions:

*Communication and Creative Media
*Education and Human Studies
*Information Technology and Services.
Two-year associate’s programs are also available. The college also offers programs in new fields, such as Game Design and Computer and Digital Forensics.
Also included in the curriculum is the Life Experience and Action Dimension, designed to provide students with the skills and character required to live successfully.
The college also supports a rich student life, with various clubs, organizations, and leadership opportunities. Some include: student dinners, trips to Montreal, residence hall movie nights, guest speakers, and even a Weekend Activities Coordinator who arranges dances, contest, ski trips, campus tournaments, and more.
Room and board is available, but not required for freshmen. Financial aid is offered to eligible students.
