The Suwannee-Hamilton Technical Center has a high success rate in placing its graduates in relevant occupations.

Located in Live Oak in Suwanee County, Florida, Suwannee Tech offers about a dozen technical training programs in Practical Nursing, Phlebotomy, Masonry, Cosmetology and Culinary Arts, among others.

Suwannee Tech also offers adult education courses such as GED preparation and basic skills courses.

Suwannee’s division of Continuing Workforce Education helps individuals already established in careers to update or advance their skills.

All students have access to such support as personal counseling and single-parent and disability services. Career counseling is also offered and includes skills assessment and job placement assistance.

In addition to offering financial assistance to special populations facing specific challenges, Suwannee Tech also disburses loans and grants to eligible students.
