Description
Located in the beautiful city of Austin, Texas, students flock to the Southwest Institute of Technology to learn real-world vocational skills. Students not only receive their associate’s or diploma in their field of choice, but also learn to successfully network.
Southwest Institute of Technology offers two programs for interested students. Students can earn their associate’s degree in Electronics Technology or a certificate as an Electronics Technician.
The associate’s degree guarantees students have learned entry-level skills in Electronics Technology, and can successfully analyze and repair some household and specialty appliances. The Electronics Technician diploma allows students to acquire a basic understanding of the field so that they are more employable upon graduation.
Both programs require some degree of hands-on experience. Students are expected to take advantage of the career services center, which helps support in-classroom instruction by giving students newly acquired skills that can help them find work after graduation.
Southwest Institute of Technology offers a great foundation for those interested in learning a new skill in Electronics Technology.
