The Northeast Louisiana Technical College in Bastrop, Louisiana, offers students hands-on technical training in current industry certifications, ensuring they develop marketable skills in a high-demand field.

The college offers four different degree programs. You can earn an associate’s degree, technical diploma, certificate, or technical competency. Some of the programs are:

*Nurse Assistant

N.E. Louisiana Tech also contains programs in the workforce division designed to strengthen Louisiana’s competitive edge in the global market as well as improve the region. These programs include Medical Billing and Coding Specialist and Pharmacy Tech Training.

The school also provides career planning assistance to all students. This allows students to explore occupations, search for higher education, prepare for the job search, take assessments, and find available financial aid options.

Admissions at the college are open, although there are a few requirements, including ACT or Compass Test scores, high school transcripts or GED scores, and meningitis vaccinations for all incoming freshmen. Males between ages 18 and 26 must provide proof of Selective Service Registration.

Tuition is set lower for Louisiana residents. To receive in-state tuition, students must live in Louisiana for at least one year. Financial aid is available to eligible students.
