Description

Serving approximately thousands of students in the Clovis, California region, Clovis Adult Education center provides career, basic adult education and enrichment courses for individuals of all ages as well as families.

Clovis Adult Education has career training programs that can lead to employment in technical careers and medical fields such as nursing.

Clovis also provides basic adult education options for individuals, such as ESL and GED-prep classes.

With a commitment to serving all of its community members, Clovis has programs specifically intended for older adults as well. These programs, intended for those who are 50 years of age or older, include courses in health and fitness, the arts, communications, current events and technology.

Over 140 personal enrichment community education courses round out the Clovis curriculum by providing students the chance to learn new skills, hobbies or recreational activities.

Clovis is a WASC accredited school, which is the same organization that accredits University of California and California State University schools, among others.

Career counseling helps guide students in outlining their career goals and meeting those goals.

Eligible students receive financial assistance through a variety of sources including Pell Grants, and sponsorship from such agencies as the Department of Rehabilitation, Workforce Connection, Workman’s Compensation and Veterans Affairs.
