Louisiana State University at Eunice (LSUE) is a community college located in Eunice, Louisiana that currently serves around 2,500 full and part-time students.
LSUE currently offers degrees and diplomas up to the associate's degree level.
LSUE was founded in 1964 by the Louisiana state legislature to provide basic higher education opportunities to students located in southwest Louisiana.
Since its establishment in 1999, the LSUE Bengal Intercollegiate Athletic Program has developed quickly. LSUE competes in Region 23 of the National Junior College Athletic Association in Women's Basketball, Men's Baseball, and Women's Softball.
The Women's Basketball program was established in 1999. It started out as a Division III program, but following a National Tournament berth in 2003, the program went Division II. The program's best player in its short history was Casey Broussard. Broussard currently hold over 20 school records and an NJCAA record for Free Throw Percentage in a season. The current coach of the Lady Bengals is Michael Bari. Coach Bari brought the Lady Bengals their best season ever for the 2004-05 year, with a 18-12 regular season record, and taking team to the District Finals losing to North Arkansas College 92-95.

Softball was established at LSUE in 2004, and their inaugural season took place in 2005. The team will play at the newly constructed Softball field on the campus, neighboring Bengal Village.
Baseball was added to the LSUE Athletics program in 1999. It is managed by Athletic Director Jeff Willis. In 2006, the LSUE Bengal baseball team won the 2006 NJCAA Division II College World Series by defeating Grand Rapids Community College 7-3
