Michigan School of Professional Psychology (MiSPP), a private graduate school offering a one-year Master's Degree and a four-year Doctoral Degree in Humanistic and Clinical Psychology, provides an educational climate which inspires students to live up to their potential, personally and professionally.

The institution has been a leader in clinical, experiential self-directed education for nearly four decades. Its curriculum emphasizes personal growth, authenticity and creativity as integral parts of the academic process.

CAMPUS
Housed on a wooded, four-acre campus in Farmington Hills, Michigan, MiSPP was created specifically to generate a learning climate that reflects the school's mission and its emphasis on growth and potential. The carefully designed facilities offer open and welcoming surroundings that foster intimate, collaborative education. The campus includes the Moustakas Johnson Library, Wilkinson Research Center, Joan S. Snyder Clinical Lab, a spacious atrium for gathering, and many spaces for reflection, such as the Diane Sklar Blau Sculpture Garden.

MISSION
The school's mission is to educate and train individuals to become reflective scholar-practitioners with the competencies necessary to serve diverse populations as professional humanistic psychologists and psychotherapists.

VISION
MiSPP honors the values of humanistic and existential psychology and the impact and importance of qualitative research set by its founders. It is committed to cultivating and achieving its vision to "become an international leader in graduate education, to embody the core tenets of humanistic-existential theory, research and practice, and to prepare students for diverse careers in psychology."

FACULTY
MiSPP prides itself on an accomplished roster of faculty members with a diverse range of clinical experience in many disciplines. These disciplines include health psychology, clinical psychology, multi-cultural psychology, education, philosophy, and research.

A partnership exists between students and faculty in pursuit of a common goal: advance professional development and increase personal growth. In this endeavor, students and faculty co-create the optimal learning environment.

STUDENTS
The majority of M.A. students have an academic specialization and professional experience in psychology.

Psy.D. students have backgrounds in psychology and related fields such as education, social work, counseling, law, and pastoral studies.
