Cuesta College serves students throughout San Luis Obispo County and the central coast. With its main campus in San Luis Obispo, Cuesta also has several other campus centers throughout the county.

An excellent source of two-year public education, Cuesta offers career training and opportunities for transfer to some of California’s more impressive private and public colleges and universities.

Cuesta offers more than 75 associate’s degree programs and more than 95 professional certifications.

Programs at Cuesta include such in-demand fields as Nursing and Allied Health, Paralegal Studies, Computer Science and Criminal Justice.

Cuesta also grants degrees in the liberal arts, general studies and other fields that can lead to a transfer. Those who do elect to transfer often attend such respected schools as Cal Poly, UC schools such as UCLA and UC Berkeley, and private schools.

Student services at Cuesta include such student services as counseling, advising, disability services and tutoring.

Student life features more than 15 athletic teams as well as a student-operated radio station.

Admission to Cuesta is open to any student who has a high school diploma or GED. For those who qualify, short-term and long-term loans as well as other forms of financial aid are available.
