USCB Description

Located alongside the beautiful Sea Islands of South Carolina, University of South Carolina in Beaufort (USCB) offers a pleasant, small college experience with all of the advantages of a large university.

Students at USCB may earn their bachelor’s degree in such disciplines as:

While the school is small and the community tight-knit, USCB still provides all of the opportunities of its larger affiliate campuses. Included among them are research activities in such fields as marine science, geology, history and ecology. Students may also undertake internships at various businesses and organizations throughout the area.

USCB also sponsors many student organizations and clubs, which include arts groups, cultural associations, student government and academic and special interest groups. The campus performing arts center is also a popular center of activity, and features art exhibits, concerts, plays and recitals.

Students interested in applying for admission will need to submit such materials as transcripts and test scores along with an application.

Financial aid is awarded through various federal, institutional and private sources to students who qualify.
