Penn State Description

While many of Pennsylvania State University’s regional campuses emphasize undergraduate study, Penn State Great Valley’s academics focus exclusively on adult education. The School of Graduate Professional Studies offers a variety of master’s degree and certificate programs in education, engineering, information science and business.

Because many of Penn State Great Valley’s students are working professionals, scheduling for these programs is flexible. You can take courses in 7- or 14-week sessions, and classes meet at night and on the weekend. This allows you to further your education without compromising your career.

You must have a bachelor’s degree to apply to any of Penn State Great Valley’s graduate programs. Additional admissions requirements may exist for individual programs. For example, many programs require a junior/senior GPA above 3.0.

Financial aid opportunities at PSU Great Valley include federal loans and benefits for veterans. Institutional scholarships are available for full-time students. In addition to these, graduate student assistantships are a great way to help pay for tuition costs.
