Despite being one of the smallest colleges in the Siouxland region, St. Luke’s College in Sioux City, Iowa, is one of the only hospital-based health and medical science schools in the state, allowing students to receive an outstanding education through its exceptional academics.
Whether you plan on earning an associate’s degree or an occupational certification, St. Luke’s has you covered. The academics available include:

Students interested in studying to become a hospital chaplain have the opportunity to enroll in St. Luke’s specialized Clinical Pastoral Education program.
Since St. Luke’s certification programs are short-term, the school requires its students to complete internship experiences to ensure that they are prepared for entry-level positions.
To promote both personal and professional development in all its students, St. Luke’s offers a variety of student services like academic advising and counseling, community service days, and student health programs.
Applications are available on St. Luke’s website. To be considered for admissions, students must have earned a high school diploma with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 or a GED and scored above 19 on the ACT.
Students who file a FAFSA and demonstrate the need for tuition assistance will be considered for St. Luke’s financial aid through federal grants, loans and scholarships, as well as Iowa Tuition and National Guard Educational Assistance grants.
