IWU Description
One of Indiana Wesleyan University’s regional campuses, the Fort Wayne Education and Conference Center’s academic programs are designed for adult students. The Fort Wayne campus doubles as a conference center, available for local businesses to rent during the day.
During nights and weekends, however, the Education and Conference Center is used for coursework. IWU Fort Wayne offers nearly 30 programs of study, leading to associate’s, bachelor’s and master’s degrees, as well as a variety of certificate programs. The school’s academics are professionally oriented, in growing fields like nursing, business and education.
As an evangelical Christian institution, IWU Fort Wayne’s curricula are rooted in the study and worship of Jesus Christ. The school also offers a few religious programs, such as the associate’s degree in Christian Ministries, the bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and the certificate in Religious Studies.
IWU Fort Wayne has an on-campus library. However, to help make education even more convenient and accessible, students can also use Indiana Wesleyan’s Off Campus Library Services (OCLS). Through OCLS, you can access IWU’s online journals and databases. The OCLS team can also fax or email you journal articles that aren’t available online, as well as assist with reference questions.
