Description
Eastern Shore Community College serves residents of Accomack and Northampton counties in Virginia.
ESCC offers transfer programs to guide students along their path towards a 4-year degree, occupational and technical programs to guide students directly into the workforce, and developmental studies programs for students needing more preparation prior to joining a transfer or occupational/technical program.
Eastern Shore Community College also has various distance learning options, allowing students to take their courses online. This allows greater flexibility for students to complete their work.
New students at ESCC will take placement tests in English, Reading, and Mathematics to help advisors recommend a suitable, individualized course schedule.
In-state residents receive a discount in tuition and out-of-state residents can receive a discount if they take classes online rather than on campus. In addition to the FAFSA, there are other state and government grants and scholarships that students can apply for to check their eligibility.
Looking to make a difference in your community as well as excel academically? The Eastern Shore Community College Student Ambassador Program is a great way to accomplish both of these goals as well as adding an impressive accomplishment to your application to a four-year school. Four ambassadors are selected each academic year.
