Description

Following a recent restructuring, Louisiana Technical College now includes nine different campuses that cover all regions of the state. Northeast Louisiana Technical College is one of these campuses, serving the eleven parishes in the northeast region. It’s comprised of five campuses in Bastrop, West Monroe, Farmerville, Winnsboro and Ruston.

As a vocational school, NLTC’s primary goal is to make its students employable. The school’s academics are professionally oriented, with programs in high-paying, high-demand fields. Some of the associate’s degree programs available include Business Office Administration, Air Condition/Refrigeration and Practical Nursing.

Northeast Louisana Tech also offers several certification and licensure programs in a wide range of fields, such as barbering, carpentry and automotive technology.

Through its College and Career Transitions program, NLTC ensures that you’ll never lose sight of your professional aspirations and how to achieve them. CTCC can help you plan your education and the career that follows it, assisting with everything from your curriculum to financial aid.

The college also has workforce development programs to help local businesses and stimulate the local economy. These services include OHSA training, pharmacy tech training, and incumbent worker training.
