Overall
I am a new student to the NMC campus and i think i made the right decision to work on an associates degree there. Firstly, it is cheap and there are many scholarships that helps me pay for college. Secondly, it is near home so that i do not have to pay for board. Next, the class sizes are not too large making it easier to interact with the students and professor. Finally, the people are friendly and are always willing to help.
Academics
My classes have been great so far. The professors are lively, and i think they have good teaching strategies. Some make it a habit to get up and do activities instead of staring at a textbook the whole day. It is also easier to contact them for assistance. The class sizes range from 25-40 students so it is not too crowded. The workload is enough to keep us busy and they're not exactly easy but this is college right?
College Life
The social atmosphere is okay. Almost all the students, professors, and staff of NMC are nice and friendly. There are a few who only want to interact with each other. The professors are easy to talk to and most students enjoy making new friends. There are many fun clubs and organizations such as the Music club, the Associated Students of NMC, etc. As for the campus safety, NMC is a safe environment especially because it isn't too large. During the weekends, there are pool bars and restaurants that many of the students enjoy visiting.

Overall
Northern Marianas College is one of the long standing college institutions here on our island. The college has made it possible for me to receive higher education despite my financial struggle. As a former international student, it was extremely difficult for me to receive any financial help to pay for my education, but the finance office of the college was considerate enough to create a payment plan with struggling students like myself to be able to make 3 payments that is much more affordable for me to pay at that time. Majority of its staff are very approachable. Even after office hours, the staff are willing to give extra help online or arrange meetings to accommodate students who need the extra help. The college also encouraged the students to express themselves and voice out opinions that would be helpful for other students. For prospective students, the bulletin boards are your best friend especially when it comes to books and other materials, like electronics, that may be of use during your academic career at the college. Students help other students make college life friendly and affordable.
Academics
I truly enjoy the class size at NMC. Personally, I don't want a relationship with my professor where I'm known as a number, and seem like you are siting in an auditorium instead of a classroom. Sure, its difficult to me missed when you are absent, but all the more better because concerned professors would reach out to their students about missing work that they need in order to pass the class. The college has a number of diverse, cultural clubs as well that many of the students really enjoy.
College Life
So far, I have known the college to do many environmental outreach programs, as well as summer programs for elementary students to keep them busy and their brains progressing even during their summer break. They have had also some golf tournaments, and pool tournaments that students participate into where funds go to a worthy cause.

One details that truly stands out in my college is diversity. There are just so many different people from different countries, different backgrounds, and different personalities. It is a wonder and amazing thing to be surrounded by this many different people. I enjoyed meeting the different types of people and working with them. I like most of the staff because they are helpful and kind. I remember doing voluntary work for my college's registration week and was placed in the Nursing Department. Although my major is in the business department, I really enjoyed my time spent with the Nursing Department. They were so many different people with different interests and reasons for majoring in Nursing. I enjoy both the Diversity and the staff.
Academics
Class size is convenient for both student and instructor. Class sizes usually range 20 to 30 students. It makes it easier to talk to the instructor and discuss topics. The programs are reasonable. There are many instructors i have enjoyed being taught by. Learning is made easy and understandable.
College Life
There are many different clubs and organizations. There is also security on campus to ensure our safety. There are many weekend activities and social gatherings. The social atmosphere is great. There are many different people to make friends with. I especially love the library. My friends and I would also go there to do our homework, relax, or to talk. There are two sections of the library: the quiet study room, and the checkout center where it isn't so quiet.

Overall
Northern Marianas College is a great college. There's so much to love here. the staff, instructors, and students are all friendly, nice, and very helpful. it's so diverse but you see different cultures together, like people look past ethnic backgrounds, color of skin, and etc. Location is beautiful. Tips for prospective students is Northern Marianas College is the best place to start. Tuition is cheap, people are friendly, and there many services to help you out.
Academics
class sizes are very manageable. its about 15-26 students in a class which gives us more advantage because our professors and instructors can help us all unlike big classes with more people you'll have to find time with your instructors. programs are awesome. the workload is not so overwhelming and the instructors and professors are great. although NMC does not offer that many programs they are interested in opinions to other programs student would like to study so they could look into it to make it happen. They really are a great motivation to college life.
College Life
Student life is amazing as well. students don't just create friendships at school it goes into a whole other level when they maintain it and welcome it into their personal life. you hardly see a person sitting alone here at NMC, like i said people look past ethnic groups, color of skin, and all of that. the school is very safe, people are too busy enjoying their moments to cause trouble. there are also many activities, workshops, and info sessions that NMC offers. Especially for its well known NMC CHARTER DAY it is always a blast.

Overall
Overall the school is good and safe. It is cheap and close to home. I like how much time you get for breaks depending on how you plan your classes. Some great experiences I had here on this campus is meeting new people, having a new lifestyle, learning many different things at a different level, and joining clubs that I enjoy.
Academics
The college's classes are average they teach you what you need to know and most of the time they teach you general things about the subject. The instructors give a good amount of workload everyday. The class sizes depend on how much students enroll into the class.
College Life
The social atmosphere is great. Many people came from different high schools which and they take much pride in their schools but now they get along with each other here. It is safe in the college at all times because there are security guards patrolling around the campus and so far I have not heard about any fights that has happened on campus. There are many different types of clubs and they have activities that they offer during the weekend or break.

Overall
The school is really great. You know you can go somewhere with it and it is really safe. There is a lot of activities to do with other students. Safety comes first in this paradise Island. Beautify CNMI
Academics
There is a lot of field. There is Business, Nurse, and the classes are pretty great normal size class. You don't really need a recorder or anything like that because it is a community college and it's really great. BIG help.
College Life
The social atmosphere is average. Campus safety is perfect no violent crime has happened. Activities are always there. Getting involve with others and helping the community and the corals in beaches with MINA program.

Overall
The best thing about attending this college is that I am closer to family and friends. Another reason is that this college is small. Students get to work closer with their instructors.
Academics
Programs offered at my college could be better, but having it a small community college, they have good programs. Instructors know what they're teaching. The workload are a lot but worth it.
College Life
Each program offered at my college has their own organizations. My college has a lot of clubs students can enjoy. Campus safety is excellent.
