Toni & Guy is a UK and US-based hairdressing company.

History

Toni & Guy was founded in 1963 by businessman Toni Mascolo and his brothers Guy, Bruno and youngest Anthony. There are more than 400 salons internationally in the chain, which has won many hairdressing awards (including London Hairdresser of the Year 2005 and South West Hairdresser of the Year 06).

Its first major salon was in London which opened in the 1960s and it is now a well-known hairdressing company, with locations worldwide. It has its own UK magazine and in-salon television station ‘Toni and Guy.TV’, as well as salons around the world and academies in the UK, Ireland, Germany, USA, Norway, Canada, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and Sweden. It also manufactures many products in the UK including hair care such as shampoos and styling products (LABEL M) and hair irons. It also has a sister salon group Essensuals, which is headed up by Toni's children Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck and Christian Mascolo.

Toni & Guy USA

Bruno Mascolo heads up the U.S. company, Toni & Guy USA - separate but related through history to Toni & Guy International - and is head-quartered in Dallas, Texas. It includes salons and TIGI Linea, the haircare products division best known for its Bed Head, S-factor, Catwalk haircare lines, Bed Head cosmetics and Hardcore appliances.
