Description

Four-year students who started at Sheridan College often find that they have a leg up on other students, but that’s not the only reason to attend Sheridan.

Located in Sheridan, Wyoming and part of the Northern Wyoming Community College District, Sheridan College offers associate’s degrees for those who wish to transfer as well as those who are seeking a solid career. Sheridan offers more than 45 different programs of study, which include Agriculture, Biotechnology, Criminal Justice, Dental Hygiene, Education, English, History, Horticulture, Nursing and Social Science.

However, Sheridan’s offerings don’t end there. Sheridan also works in conjunction with several universities to offer more advanced degrees, including graduate degrees.

At Sheridan, students have the option to live on campus in residence halls. Those who do choose to live on campus can take better advantage of such student life offerings as Sheridan’s academic, recreational and cultural student organizations and athletic teams.

Tuition at Sheridan is substantially reduced for students who reside in Wyoming or other western states such as California, Arizona, New Mexico and Utah. Financial aid is available to eligible students in need.

There are certain specific requirements for admission to some programs such as Nursing, Dental Hygiene and Massage Therapy. However, the general admission policy to Sheridan states that anyone at least 16 years of age may attend.
