Description

While some cosmetology schools offer only one program of study, Margate School of Beauty has academics for a variety of specialties. Whether you want to be a barber or a manicurist, there’s a comprehensive program to help you achieve your professional goals.

Margate Beauty School currently offers six programs, each with a unique curriculum:

  • Cosmetology
  • Barber Stylist
  • Skin Care
  • Full Specialty
  • Nail Technologist
  • Massage Therapy

These programs, all of which lead to diplomas, are designed to provide both an in-depth and wide-ranging knowledge of the subject. For example, the Skin Care program includes a course in theatrical makeup, and the Full Specialty program covers skin and nail care, waxing and body treatments (including collagen).

Because Margate offers salon services, you can practice your skills on actual clients as you learn. This is crucial, as most of a cosmetology education comes from hands-on experience. You can learn the technical, business and customer service angles of the industry, so you’re ready for employment after graduation.

Margate School of Beauty participates in federal financial aid programs. The school also offers some scholarships to eligible students.
