Description

Three Rivers Community College came out of the merging of two colleges in southeastern Connecticut. For this reason, students who attend Three Rivers have a wealth of opportunities at their disposal, including special programs for adult learners.

Located in Norwich, Connecticut, Three Rivers offers students throughout the region the chance to pursue a professional or academic associate’s degree. Available majors include Aviation Maintenance, Business, Engineering, Liberal Arts and Sciences, Nursing and Restaurant Management.

Certifications may also be obtained for such varied professions as Criminal Justice, Healthcare, Library Technology and Technical Writing.

Three Rivers is always expanding, having recently renovated and built additional campus facilities and classrooms. It is also always expanding academically. Its adult-learner program is an example of this: students in this program attend school on a schedule that’s convenient to them, while also receiving additional help and guidance through a student support-group and, in some cases, scholarships.

Student services for the general population include academic, career and personal counseling, childcare, healthcare, financial aid and veteran’s programs.

The only requirement for admission is a high school diploma or GED. Certain programs, such as Nursing, may have additional criteria.
