Description

SAE Institute has the specific mission of training students for careers in media and communications.

The Atlanta, Georgia campus, one of 50 across the country, specializes in audio technology, offering a diploma and associate’s degree in the field. The audio technology program prepares students to work in commercial recording, post-production, audio film editing and audio engineering of live events, among others.

Both programs combine theory with hands-on application of skills. Students also get the benefit of hearing lectures by professionals in the audio technology industry.

The diploma program takes nine months for full-time students to complete and 18 months for those who attend part-time. The associate’s degree is 12 months and only offered on a full-time basis.

New students are admitted every three months, when a new round of classes begins. Those seeking admission may fill out an application online, after which an SAE representative will contact applicants to take them through the next steps.

SAE Institute representatives may also inform students of possible financial aid options or any available tuition payment plans.
