Description

The Utah College of Dental Hygiene (UCDH), part of the Careers Unlimited system, in Orem, Utah, is one of the only institutions in Utah that offers a fully-accredited, continuous 20-month Dental Hygiene bachelor's degree program, allowing its students to complete their academics quicker than most programs.

The student-teacher ratio at the college is 5:1, allowing you to receive an individualized educational experience that will prepare you for a future career. Once you complete the program, you will be qualified to sit for the Utah licensing exam.

Upon successful licensure, the college will help you look for work in the Utah Valley and across the country. Graduates have gone on to become registered dental assistants and hygienists in more than 32 of the United States.

When you are not studying, you can enhance your college life by experiencing the beauty of the Utah Valley, featuring plenty of outdoor recreational activities throughout the year like skiing, rock climbing and cycling. You can also check out many of the Provo city parks, as well as the Uinta National Forest.

Although the College of Dental Hygiene only accepts around 60 students into its classes twice a year, the school strives to accommodate as many students as possible. Even if you have not completed your prerequisites, you can still complete an admissions interview, apply and be conditionally accepted into the program. For more information on application requirements, please contact the school.

Students seeking tuition assistance can file a FAFSA to be considered for financial aid. The UCDH works exclusively with each student to find programs that can help make their educational dreams a reality.
