Description

A family-owned company, Raphael’s School of Beauty Culture stresses its small class sizes and caring, student-oriented instruction. According to the school, this approach yields results: Raphael’s claims to have graduated the most students of any school in Northeast Ohio. The Boardman campus (one of five), is just a fifteen-minute drive from Youngstown, about 80 miles outside of Cleveland.

Raphael’s offers programs in Cosmetology, Nail Care, and Skin Care & Esthetics. There’s also a combination course to become certified in both Nail and Skin Care. The number of hours required varies from 300 to 1800. However, classes start every month, and Raphael’s prides itself on its flexibility, so you can work your training around your schedule.

Qualifying students may apply for Pell grants and direct federal student loans. But, because Raphael’s School of Beauty Culture is a for-profit institution, no financial aid is available through the school.
