Description

In the Denmark, South Carolina area, you can earn an associate degree, one-year college credit diploma, or technical certificate with just one to two years at Denmark Technical College. There is an option of taking online or on-campus classes in completing your degree.

Academic programs include Administrative Office Technology, Criminal Justice Technology, Electromechanical Engineering Technology, General Business, Human Services, Computer Technology, Early Care and Education, Cosmetology, and Practical Nursing, among many others.

The counseling center is available to all DTC students who need help dealing with academic pressures. Academic counseling and peer counselors can help students figure out their academic plan, while the tutoring and testing services will help students succeed in their classes.

DTC offers many financial aid programs including federal Pell Grants Academic Competitive Grant, federal work-study, loans, aid programs for South Carolina students, and scholarships awarded based on need and merit.

The career planning center has been helping students and graduates with career related decisions, in finding placement within jobs, and in learning job-seeking skills such as resume building and interviewing skills.
