When I think of college life the first thing that comes to my mind is football. Clemson football is definitely the highlight of many people's college career. The atmosphere in Death Valley is honestly indescribable. The constant excitement and being with your university as one team is an incredible feeling that I wish everyone could experience. I am a member in Alpha Chi Omega. It is such a cool experience to be a part of something such as a sisterhood. Having such a close knit group of girls to encourage and support you is priceless. Greek life is huge at Clemson, there is rarely ever a weekend when a sorority and fraternity is not having some sort of function. This is just another way that the students at Clemson come together to be a close knit environment. There is rarely ever a week when I walk around campus and don't see a club or organization promoting something in a fun and different way. Having that constant reminder that there are so many things going on around campus is comforting knowing that being away from home I still have so many things to do so I will never be bored. Campus safety is something that is constantly promoted and being improved all over campus. There is never a moment when I question my safety. To ensure this, there are emails and texts that are sent out if the weather gets bad or if the university feels any kind of threat. There are also many campus emergency phones placed throughout campus. I have never had a boring weekend at Clemson. If I'm not studying, I love going out on the lake, that's one of my favorite things to do up here. The university is always hosting many free events that students are encouraged to attend.

The organizations here are open to new people all the time and as for campus security, I feel fairly safe at night (my slight unease mainly caused by my fear of being outside at night). Athletics are good and the weekend activities are pretty nice as well.
