Description

Part of the Dallas Community College system, Cedar Valley College offers a range of degree, certificate and continuing education programs.

Cedar Valley College boasts an equal number of academic and technical offerings, so that students may get an associate’s degree in English Literature or in Criminal Justice.

Additional non-credit courses are offered through the Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Development. These include everything from GED preparation to enrichment courses. Training leading to careers in such fields as law enforcement, real estate sales and “green” careers is also offered.

Student services are also numerous. They include standard offerings like career and tutoring services, or more specific offerings like the African American Male Initiative program, which offers mentoring to African American male students.

Financial aid is available for eligible students in the form of loans, grants work-study and scholarships.
