University of Idaho-Moscow
From Wikipedia, The Free EncyclopediaThe University of Idaho is Idaho's flagship and oldest public university, located in the rural city of Moscow in Latah County. It is the state's land-grant and primary research university. The University of Idaho (officially abbreviated UI but commonly referred to as U of I) was the state's only university until 1963, and hosts the state's only law school, which was established in 1909 and accredited by the ABA in 1925. Plans for Idaho's first medical school, to be based here, are under discussion.
The university was formed by the territorial legislature of Idaho on January 30, 1889, and opened its doors on October 3, 1892 with an initial class of 40 students. The first graduating class in 1896 contained two men and two women. Today, the university has an enrollment exceeding 11,000. The university offers 142 degree programs, from Accountancy to Wildlife Resources, including bachelor's, master's, doctoral, and specialists' degrees. Certificates of completion are offered in 30 areas of study.
The University of Idaho has one of the most scenic campuses in the western U.S. The Palouse region has rolling hills with rivers and lakes, with mountains nearby, offering a wide variety of recreational opportunities. The master plan for the UI campus was originally designed in 1908 by the Olmsted Brothers, the sons of Frederick Law Olmsted; the landscape architecture firm from Massachusetts that designed the U.S. Capitol grounds and Central Park in New York City. Other notable campuses designed by the firm include Stanford University, University of California, Berkeley, University of Washington, and University of Notre Dame.
As a rural land-grant institution, UI has the largest campus area in the state, located in the rolling hills of the Palouse region at an elevation of 2600 feet (792 m) above sea level. Washington's land-grant institution, Washington State University, is located eight miles (13 km) west in Pullman.

Question:
University of Idaho sorority members?
How strict are your grade requirements?
Best Answer
I looked at your school's greek website and found fall semester grades which I've pasted below. You'll be an attractive potential new member to any of the chapters if your gpa is close to their chapter gpa. Generally, each sorority has its own minimum gpa requirement to join but their national office will usually give them an exemption or two for exceptionally well rounded otherwise girls.
So there's 2 ways of looking at the fall semester stats: the DGs would have the least to lose by taking you because your bad grades (assuming they are) wouldn't hurt them so much and the Alpha Gams really can't afford to take anyone else with bad grades.
OR, the DGs won't even give you a second thought and the Alpha Gams wouldn't have a problem letting you in. Looking at the membership sizes, it looks like in addition to having the lowest GPA, the Alpha Gams also are the smallest chapter at your school. They might possibly be on some sort of probation and wasn't allowed to participate in rush a semester or something.
