Description

International Beauty Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado provides hands-on cosmetology training, but also focuses heavily on the business aspect of the industry.

Training at International Academy is designed to prepare students for careers as cosmetologists, estheticians, barbers, hairstylists and nail artists.

Students learn in great part through hands-on work at the school’s salon, where much of the community goes to get hair, nail and skin-care services from the faculty-supervised students.

Students also take the “Success University” course, which gives them training in such needed business skills as customer service and building clientele.

In International Academy’s monthly newsletter, students may find out about the school’s numerous industry events and activities as well as receive tips related to styling and beauty.

Scholarships, Pell grants and loans are some of the forms of financial aid available to those who qualify.

If you’re interested in finding out more about International Academy or applying, contact a school representative.
