Mitchell’s Hairstyling Academy trains its students to become cosmetologists, estheticians, stylists and nail artists with both style and business sense.

Located in Raleigh, North Carolina Mitchell’s has locations and salons throughout the city as well as additional academies in such cities as Durham and Cary.

Since Mitchell’s serves an upscale clientele and the school’s director and faculty stay current with style trends, Mitchell’s students learn the latest styling, coloring and other techniques.

Along these same lines, students are trained with the most valued hair-care and beauty lines such as Paul Mitchell, Redken and Biolage.

In addition to classroom and hands-on learning in the salon, students are also trained in the business side of the beauty industry. Instruction in salon management and customer service is what gives graduates of Mitchell’s the upper hand in the industry.

Since part-time and full-time options are available, Mitchell’s program is also accessible, even to working adults.

Students interested in attending Mitchell’s will need to submit an application and transcripts. They will also need to take an admissions exam and interview with a Mitchell’s staff member.
