The Community College of Alleghany County’s South Campus in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, aims to prepare Pennsylvania residents for personal, professional and academic success in today’s evolving global society.
The South Campus’ educational facility is a state-of-the-art building that contains technology rooms, a theatre, a radio station and a learning assistance center in addition to its classrooms and dining areas.
Other resources available on the South Campus include allied health and nursing laboratories, media center and computer centers. Students have easy access to these facilities, which provide great hands-on learning opportunities.
The student life department makes sure that students can grow and learn outside of the classroom by coordinating guest lectures, field trips, cultural events and service projects.
Students may also get involved on campus by joining an academic, social, recreational or multicultural group.
Academics on south campus include degrees, diplomas and certificates. These are offered in disciplines like:

Admissions require applicants to submit an official high school or GED transcript. Students may have to take a placement exam if their concentration requires it.
Alleghany County residents receive discounted tuition. Members of other Pennsylvania counties also benefit from having a lower tuition cost.
Financial aid is available to eligible students who have filed a FAFSA through grants, scholarships, student loans and student employment programs.
