If you’re interested in holistic medicine and want to receive both a high quality education and training with a focus on the healing power of essential oils, herbs, and nutrition, then the College of Botanical Healing Arts (COBHA) in Santa Cruz, California, is for you.

At COBHA you’ll receive an education based on a curriculum balanced with science, holistic healing theories, and first-hand clinical experience.

The college offers a state-certified 421-hour certificate program for Essential Oil Therapy with two levels of training.

The first level consists of exploration of:

• Distillation
• Ancient History
• Skin
• Organic Chemistry
• Immune Building
• Emotional Balancing

Level II focuses more on learning Botany, Physiology, Communication and Business Skills, Clinical Theory, and much more. This is designed to provide you with the knowledge to become an Essential Oil Therapist as well as the know-how necessary to make it a professional career.

In addition, all students are required to complete 60 hours of elective credits.

The school offers three workshops a year with renowned national and international teachers. These workshops are also open to the public.

Tuition does not include the cost of books or the essential oils with which you’ll be practicing. A 10% discount from tuition is offered if you pay in full for all classes.
