Urbana University, located in Urbana, Ohio, aims to foster growth in students by encouraging academics, leadership, and even athletics. Though it is a small school, Urbana’s history goes back to 1850, when it was founded in part by Johnny “Appleseed” Chapman.
Admissions remain at a low number at Urbana, which means that students may benefit from small class sizes and a campus that isn’t overwhelming. However, the school also manages to provide technologically advanced facilities and classrooms to keep students ahead of the game.
A traditional four-year university, Urbana’s academic programs include a wide variety of undergraduate studies as well as a selection of graduate degree programs. Adult and continuing education is also an option.
An active athletics program, many clubs and organizations, and a new wellness center make student life at Urbana both exciting and comfortable.
