BBC Description

A Christian university with a specific and singular religious perspective, Baptist Bible College offers an education that is centered in Christ and the literal word of the Bible.

Located in Springfield, Missouri, Baptist Bible College grants several associate’s degrees and certificates. However, bachelor’s and graduate degrees are the main offering at Baptist Bible.

Training future ministers and pastors, Baptist Bible College awards graduate degrees in Divinity, Ministry, Biblical Counseling and Biblical Studies.

Students getting a four-year degree may major in ministerial programs such as Pastoral Studies, Church Education, Children’s Ministry and Church Music. Secular majors are offered as well in such fields as Education and Business. However, the Bible is, first and foremost, the foundation of all learning at Baptist Bible College.

Baptist Bible College distinguishes itself as having a historic fundamentalist perspective that interprets the word of the Bible literally and maintains an exclusive focus on Christ as the one and only savior.

This perspective underlies everything at Baptist Bible College, both in the classroom and in student life activities which include prayer, chapel services and worship groups.

Admissions requirements include submission of transcripts, SAT or ACT scores and, of course, a commitment to the religious beliefs of the school.

For information on tuition and financial aid, contact a Baptist Bible counselor or representative.
