Description
New England Tractor Trailer Training School (NETTTS) in Pawtucket, Rhode Island is a small vocational institution that offers skills training in driver’s education. It has been providing driver instruction for decades to those who want to get into the transportation industry.
NETTTS strives to prepare its students for careers that involve operating commercial trucks and trailers. The regular certification programs are: Commercial Driver’s License Preparation, Commercial Heavy Straight Truck Training, and Advanced Tractor Trailer Driving.
Programs include best safety practices as well as backing, loading, maneuvering, and parking commercial trucks and trailers. Students get to put into practice what they have learned on NETTTS-owned big rigs.
The school accepts financial aid for certain programs from qualifying students.
After students complete their chosen programs, the school can help them get into the workforce as quickly as possible. NETTTS has working relationships with many major trucking companies, and can often assist its graduates with job placement.
