Well, I'm planning on applying to Case Western Reserve University and I hear it's a great school. But the main reason people have been telling me not to go there is because "It's in Cleveland." So I was just wondering what are some GOOD and BAD points about Cleveland (specifically where Case Western is). And also, if possible tell me some good and bad things about Case Western too, like its programs, the enviroment, what I'll need to get in (application-wise), etc. And if I do get in should I go (your own opinion)? THANKS!!!!

excellent school, but neighborhood made me a little nervous when I looked at school with my daughter a couple of years ago. Check it out in person before you decide. I know kids that go there and they say it is fine.
any students from case, how hard is it to be accepted? How is life on campus? Are the classes very tough? Any info about dental careers if you go to case? thanks

My sister transferred to CWRU & graduated in accounting. She said the classes were moderately tough & intellectually stimulating. She loved the campus life! The campus is beautiful & Case is in a neat area with lots of museums (University Circle) and shopping (Coventry). There were so many good Italian restraunts around, we loved visiting her. I think with A/B grades and extracurriculars on your application, it wouldn't be hard to get in. Good luck!
i got admitted into all these universities . georgia is overall cost cheap. case gave me huge aid. carnegie mellon waitlisted but good aid. what should i chose. im doing engineering but undecided stream. in terrms of toughest course, best profs, rankings etc

Case is a really good enigineering school, i'de go for that. Also ask if any of the schools offer a co-op program, this is where you take a quarter/semester off of school and go work in the field. I currently go to U of Cincinnati because of that reaso (that and in-state tuition). But Case was right up there (It was too close to home for me though). Any way you go you'll get a good job as long as you stick with it. Good Luck, and don't forget to have fun while in school, its the best time of your life!!!!
