Northwestern College is located in Roseville, Minnesota, USA. It is a four-year Christian college accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The school was founded on October 2, 1902 as Northwestern Bible and Missionary Training School by Dr William Bell Riley, a pastor at the First Baptist Church of Minneapolis. Billy Graham served as the school's president from 1948 to 1952. Athletic teams at the school are nicknamed the Eagles.

Northwestern College has an enrollment of over 2,500 students in traditional and non-traditional programs. Northwestern is the only non-denominational Christian private college in the state of Minnesota. The College is an evangelical Christian institution dedicated to the integration of faith and learning.

Mission Statement

Northwestern College exists to provide Christ-centered higher education, equipping students to grow intellectually and spiritually, to serve effectively in their professions, and to give God-honoring leadership in the home, church, community, and world.

Traditional Undergraduate Program

Northwestern offers 45 bachelor's degrees in its traditional format including elementary and secondary education, business, psychology, broadcasting/electronic media, art, English, biblical studies, and Christian ministries. In addition to mandatory daily chapel program featuring local, national, and international speakers, students are required to have a focus in Bible by taking 30 credits of Bible classes throughout their college career.

Alternative Education Programs

The FOCUS Degree Completion Program offers an Associate of Arts degree as well as degree-completion programs in business, psychology, ministries, and communication studies.
