If you’re looking for instruction in the Bible as well as the liberal arts and sciences, then Baptist Mid-Continent University in Mayfield, Kentucky, is the place for you.

The university’s primary aim is to provide students with a high-quality, Christ-centric education to develop skills for service in a diverse society as well as Christian leadership by inspiring spirituality as much as intellect.

Academics at the university include bachelor’s and associate’s degrees in more than 11 programs, including arts & humanities, business, education, social sciences, and more. Unique to MCU is a BS in Christian Ministry.

In addition to traditional degree programs, Mid-Continent also offers a unique Advantage program to working adults who are looking to return to college. This program offers classes in an accelerated manner—one night a week, one class at a time—to allow those working full time to manage classes. Many Advantage programs take place off campus in a number of schools and businesses across Kentucky and southern Illinois for added convenience.

MCU offers a number of special student services, some of which include:

  • Class leadership service opportunities
  • Class representatives
  • Chaplains to provide spiritual support and leadership
  • And more
