Description

Located on Peckham Street in Akron, Ohio, the Akron School of Practical Nursing is an adult vocational program prepared to turn you from a dreamer into a registered nurse.

There is a full-time, 41-week program option and a part-time, 82-week evening and weekend program option for learning all the necessary skills to become a nurse. Not only are there talented instructors to guide you through your education and help you become the best nurse you can possible be, but you can also earn clinical hours at the nearby Akron City Hospital.

All of that training and experience will help you pass the National Council Licensing Examination in order to become a licensed nurse.

There is financial aid in the forms of grants, loans and scholarships available to those who qualify.

Rolling deadlines allow you to submit your application weeks before the start of any new term. As soon as you’re ready to start, so is the Akron School of Practical Nursing!
